Maungaturoto Bowling Club
LAWN BOWLS
Lawn Bowls is played at Maungaturoto Bowling Club, situated adjacent to the Maungaturoto Country Club in Bickerstaff Road, Maungaturoto.
- The Club has two artificial Greens which allows Bowling all year round.
- During the summer and winter months there is a roll up on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am until 12 midday.
- In addition there is Business House Bowls on Friday nights from 5pm until 7.30pm.
- This is a fun event so make up a team or come along by yourself. There are good prizes. Mufti clothes can be worn to both these events.
- Bowls can be provided for an initial period for new Bowlers.
- Competition Bowls internally and against other clubs is also held regularly during the summer months.
- During the winter, tournament Bowls are held commencing for 6 consecutive weeks in late April.
