Ka Ora Telecare

At Ka Ora Telecare, we understand the unique healthcare needs of rural communities across Aotearoa . As an extension of your local healthcare provider, we're here to bridge the gap during after-hours care. With Ka Ora, you can easily access a same-day phone or video consultation with our dedicated Telehealth team. Our services are available from 5pm to 8am on weekdays and are accessible round the clock on weekends and public holidays.

Our Team consists of:
- Kaiāwhina (Care Navigators)
- Nurses
- General Practice Doctors and Nurse Practitioners
- on Evening 5pm to 10pm (starting 8am on Weekends and Public Holidays)
- Emergency Doctors
- on Overnight 10pm to 8am
- Support Staff
The Healthcare team will assess you and provide you with advice, alongside any management you may require including prescriptions, requesting of tests and medical certificates. Ka Ora Telecare works alongside your enrolled General Practice team to provide after hours care.
