The Old Post Office Guesthouse B&B

The Old Post Office Guesthouse is an historic old building circa 1903. On entering, look down and you will be standing on kauri planks milled in the Kaipara. You will also notice the hollow in both the front doorways worn down by countless feet. My great grand father and sons would have been among those that patronised the post office. They also probably popped into the old Saddlery next door ( where we live) to ask for saddle or stirrup mending. The building is old by NZ standards and was a working post office. Quaint and charming, every room is different. Many people love the building, however, if you prefer motel style it is possibly not going to appeal.
